Tottenham are willing to sell Manor Solomon in the summer with Leeds United and Everton interested

Tottenham Hotspur did a smart job of offloading the majority of the deadwood from their squad last summer.

A lot of underperforming stars and fringe players were either sold, released or loaned out to create space in Ange Postecoglou’s roster for new faces. Surplus to requirements for Ange Postecoglou, Manor Solomon was farmed out on loan to Championship outfit Leeds United.

Manor Solomon was a part of three-player trades between Spurs and Leeds United, with Archie Gray moving to White Hart Lane in a £40m deal and Joe Rodon heading in the opposite direction in a permanent £10m transfer. It did not turn out to be an ideal start for the Israeli winger at Elland Road, though.

A minor hamstring problem, coupled with strong quality and depth in attacking areas of the pitch, stopped the Spurs loanee from establishing himself in Daniel Farke’s starting XI. It took him until the busy Christmas period to really find his feet at Leeds. Now, Solomon is one of the first names on the coach’s teamsheet, having shifted Willy Gnonto to a place on the bench in the last couple of months.

The 25-year-old nippy winger has 15-goal contributions in 28 appearances so far for the Whites. Such has been the Israel international’s impact in the Championship that Leeds want to sign him permanently from Spurs. However, it looks like they are not the only club interested in his services.

According to an exclusive report from GIVEMESPORT, Everton are set to rival Leeds for the signing of Solomon in the summer. Tottenham are willing to offload him for between £10m and £15m after a difficult time at the club since his arrival in 2023.

Solomon has played a key role in the Peacock’s rise to the summit of the Championship. They remain in pole position to secure automatic promotion, and if they secure top-flight football for next season, the Yorkshire giants would love to sign the ex-Fulham man. Everton are also planning a summer move as his form at Elland Road shows spending anything between £10m and £15m could be good value for money.

More Tottenham Hotspur News:

Tottenham had signed Solomon on a free transfer in 2023 and the fact that he has been performing well in the Championship is extremely good news. As Ange Postecoglou doesn’t consider him in his plans at White Hart Lane, the Hotspur Way chiefs would want a potential bidding war to erupt between Leeds and Everton that helps to further drive up the price and fetches us a decent fee from his sale.
