There are ample young players at White Hart Lane, with each youngster possessing more talent than the next one, this plethora of young players have brought a lot of identity and a sense of future among the corridors of Hotspur Way, and credit where it’s due, Daniel Levy has done a wonderful job of creating a pipeline of players that can continually come through and impact the first team, and one of the highly awaited starlets among Spurs supporters is Luka Vuskovic.
Next defensive star in Tottenham’s youth revolution?

Luka Vuskovic is a player who has the capacity to physically dominate his opponents (something that can come in handy in the English top tier) complemented by exceptional technical abilities. And in many ways, the way that he moves represents the elegance of a modern-day defender, who is very reminiscent of Barcelona icon Gerard Pique.
He is someone who is known for his qualities on the ball with his perfect passing, tactical intelligence, and ability to read the game which could make him an ideal player for the way Ange Postecoglou has deployed at Hotspur Way.
Luka Vuskovic keen on Tottenham return after loan success at Westerlo

At the moment, the 17-year-old defender is currently on loan from Hajduk Split and has been taking significant strides in Belgium, and if we go by his words, the teenager has indicated that he is ready to make the jump back to London.
In a conversation via. Voetbalkrant, Vuskovic spoke about his time at Westerlo (his temporary employers for this season), where he has scored seven goals despite playing at the heart of the defence. He said:
“I had barely played ten games for Hajduk. In the meantime, I have already gained some experience. Without being arrogant, I can say that I have shown sufficient qualities. Maybe I still have to work on my speed a bit more, although Mats Hummels shows that you can make a difference even without that speed.
“If I have made my debut at Tottenham, it will be fine. Is there a chance that I will stay at Westerlo? That has not been discussed yet.”
He should be moving to White Hart Lane when the summer comes around, but there is no discussion about his future after that. Would he stay with the squad at N17 or move away on another loan? But this determination to come to London and start impressing shows his mentality and how he can go on to become an integral presence for Tottenham in the years to come.
