Tottenham are expected to offload Manor Solomon in the summer amid interest from Leeds United
Tottenham Hotspur did a great job of offloading the majority of the deadwood from Ange Postecoglou’s roster last summer.
A lot of players were either released, loaned out or sold to make room for the Hotspur Way chiefs to bring in fresh blood. One of the players to leave Spurs was Manor Solomon.
Manor Solomon joined Championship side Leeds United on loan for the rest of the season. The diminutive attacker endured a frustrating start to life at Elland Road. A minor hamstring injury, coupled with the strong depth in the wing department, did not allow the Israeli international from establishing himself in the starting XI.
Over the festive period and the New Year, though, Solomon has found his feet at the club. The Kefar Sava-born talent has started 20 of his 29 games in the Championship for Daniel Farke’s side thus far, scoring seven goals and providing as many assists. The 25-year-old’s contributions have been pivotal as the Whites find themselves at the top of the Championship table after 36 games on goal difference.

Given Solomon’s impact over the last three months, Leeds have made up their mind to sign the winger permanently from Tottenham. The Peacocks have informed the North Londoners that they would be keen to sign the Israel attacker permanently as long as they are promoted to the Premier League at the end of the season.
Thus, ex-Spurs scout Bryan King thinks Daniel Levy could demand £15m plus add-ons for Solomon.
“Tottenham will want £15m for Solomon,” Bryan King exclusively told Tottenham News.
“I think that would be a pretty good deal for Tottenham. As well as the £15m, Spurs could look to include add-ons in the transfer as well.
“Solomon has been given his chance at Leeds, he’s proved that he’s popular, and from being a nobody at Tottenham as such, he has become a star with Leeds.”

Solomon never really got the chance to establish himself at Tottenham as he spent much of his first season in North London out injured. He was deemed surplus to requirements by Ange Postecoglou during the pre-season tour of Asia, and as a result, the club bosses decided to loan the ex-Fulham man out to Leeds.
The creative winger has become a star at Leeds, who are overwhelming favourites to achieve automatic promotion to the English top flight. Considering the options Big Ange has in his attack currently, Solomon probably has no future at White Hart Lane.

And as he has shone in the Championship and played a key role in Daniel Farke’s side sitting at the summit, Spurs are in a commanding position to demand in excess of £15m this summer, although Premier League club Everton could reportedly rival Leeds for Solomon’s signature.
