Tottenham forward Richarlison has been linked with an emotional return to Everton
There are several Tottenham Hotspur stars whose futures are up in the air following a disastrous season, and one of them is Richarlison.
Richarlison has underperformed at White Hart Lane ever since he arrived from Everton in 2022. The versatile forward has struggled for fitness and form, featuring only 82 times for the North Londoners. He has endured another injury-ravaged season, limiting him to only 16 appearances to date.
Spurs are planning to move on the Brazilian this summer as his time at the club has been blighted by chronic inconsistency in performance levels, injuries and a failure to nail down a position. Richarlison has been linked with a sensational move back to his former club Everton ahead of the summer transfer window.

Now, according to an exclusive report from GIVEMESPORT, Everton could make a cut-price bid in the region of £30million for Richarlison this summer to try and tempt Tottenham into selling him. David Moyes wants to make changes to his squad ahead of the 2025/26 season, and him along with the Merseyside club chiefs are increasingly confident that they could help the Brazilian reignite his career if he decides to leave Spurs.
Richarlison has a contract until 2027 (Transfermarkt), and while Tottenham are not under immediate rush to sell him, the Toffees are considering whether to test their resolve with a bid when the transfer window reopens in June. The South American enjoyed a productive spell at Goodison Park, bagging 52 goals and 13 assists in 152 appearances while building a strong relationship with the fans.
The aforementioned report adds Everton officials feel that there is hope that the 27-year-old would be interested in becoming a ‘marquee signing’ as they prepare for life at their new stadium at Bramley-Moore Dock. They have further been boosted by Tottenham’s willingness to sanction Richarlison’s exit, as any funds accumulated from his departure would help Levy reinvest in the squad to enjoy a better season.

Spurs fans surely won’t be too disappointed to see Richarlison go, with the Watford man undoubtedly struggling badly during his time in north London. Tottenham need to be aiming higher than this, so if they offload the Brazilian international at the end of the season, that would give funds for potentially a new manager to strengthen his attack with a new face.
That being said, should Everton table a bid in the £30million ballpark for Richarlison, Levy should not think twice before accepting it.
