Brazilian forward linked with sensational Everton reunion as Spurs open to summer sale
Tottenham are preparing for a major summer rebuild after a dismal season, with several players expected to leave and new signings on the horizon. Former Coach Martin Allen believes the Brazilian can be sold for a meagre fee
Martin Allen, former manager of Brentford and Leicester City, believes Everton could make an attempt to re-sign Richarlison this summer for around £15m. Allen speaking to TottenhamNews said he is uncertain of Richarlison’s impact for Spurs since his move, branding him as a player who has “flattered to deceive” and stating that he has been more of an impact substitute than a main starter and has mostly been peripheral.
Allen also questioned whether another club would be willing to make Richarlison their main striker, adding that if Spurs received an offer of £15-20m for him, they would take it without hesitation since he isn’t delivering the required goals and assists.

“It was a lot of money to buy him for, the promise that he showed when he was younger hasn’t come to the fore, and he’s been on the periphery and a sub-type player.”
“Who would want to take him and thrust him in as their lead centre forward? I’m not sure there are many teams that would.”
“What’s he worth? If they got £15m or £20m, they would snap anyone’s hand off. I don’t think he brings enough in terms of goals and assists.“

With players like Wilson Odobert and Dominic Solanke ahead of Richarlison in the Tottenham pecking order, it appears that returning to Goodison Park might be exactly what he needs to kickstart his Everton career all over again.
