Tottenham Hotspur faces competition from Newcastle United for the signing of West Ham star Jarrod Bowen
Tottenham Hotspur have some big decisions to make when rebuilding their squad during the summer transfer window.
Along with boss Ange Postecoglou, several Spurs players are also facing uncertain futures as chairman Daniel Levy prepares for a pivotal summer. With the North Londoners underperforming in the Premier League, there’s a clear sense that a major squad overhaul is the need of the hour.
A forward is being targeted by the Hotspur Way chiefs amid Richarlison’s uncertain future at the club. Son Heung-min’s powers have been on the wane since the start of the season, while club-record signing Dominic Solanke continues to blow hot and cold.

Now, according to West Ham United Insider Claret and Hugh, Tottenham are interested in signing Jarrod Bowen. They claim that ff Spurs want to sign the West Ham star, they are going to have to battle with Newcastle United to strike a deal.
“They would be interested, but so are a lot of clubs. Bowen seems dedicated to West Ham, but if he sees Paqueta and Kudus leave without anyone decent coming in, maybe he’d be tempted?” Claret and Hugh claimed.
“West Ham might struggle again next season—and a lot of players could want out.
“I think Spurs are interested and will make changes in the summer.”
Jarrod Bowen has had another fantastic season at the London Stadium, despite struggling with injury in a side that has massively underperformed. Ne has the Hammers’ top scorer in the Premier League this season with nine strikes in 29 games. The English wide forward has also chipped in with five assists, demonstrating the creative side of his side.
At 28, Bowen is operating at the peak of his powers and may think of moving to a bigger club than West Ham in a bid to compete for trophies and play in European competitions regularly. For now, though, the Irons reportedly deem him an “unsellable asset”, and the fact that the forward has still five years to run on the seven-year contract he signed means they have no hurry to sell him this summer.

But if Bowen pushes for an exit in the summer after West Ham’s shambolic season, Tottenham must fight tooth and nail to get his signature. The ex-Hull City man is a quality, proven Premier League commodity who would instantly lift Spurs. The England international can also play in multiple positions across the forward line, which further adds to his value.
Given the North Londoners’ desperate need for a reliable forward who can score goals regularly, Bowen is someone we must plan to invest in.
