Manor Solomon impressed at Leeds and is now poised to discuss his future with Spurs
Tottenham suffered a massive injury crisis at the start of the season, and they have struggled to recover ever since. The Lilywhites are now in 16th position in the league, already out of both domestic cup competitions, and the Europa League is their last chance of winning a long overdue trophy. Meanwhile, for players like Manor Solomon, it has been a different experience. Solomon was sent on loan to Leeds United last August, young and was instrumental in them winning the Championship and regaining promotion back to the Premier League. Now, reports confirm that he will open a discussion regarding his long-term future with Spurs within the next two or three days.

The 25-year-old left North London to join Leeds United on loan for the season in August and has played an integral part in their promotion push. Solomon was a key part of Leeds’ title-winning campaign in the Championship… none more so than the final day of this season. Going into the last match, Leeds were fighting it out for the title with Burnley, who were leading Millwall. In the 91st minute, Solomon turned the game completely around to score the decisive goal in a 2-1 comeback at Home Park over Plymouth Argyle, which ultimately gave Leeds’ promotion, and because of their goal difference, gave them the Championship title with 100 points.
Manor Solomon to discuss long-term future after successful loan spell
Manor Solomon will be back with Tottenham Hotspur after a successful loan with Leeds United, and conversations about his long-term future will commence in the upcoming days. Although his contract with Spurs extends through to 2028, his stint in North London has been limited in terms of work opportunities; he has appeared in just six games and has spent the majority of time out on loan wherever possible.
Solomon confirmed speaking in an interview, as relayed by Yorkshire Evening Post, that he had his “full focus” on this season with Leeds and is very open to conversations about what happens next. He put in a great performance against Plymouth who he scoring his decisive goal to ensure not only a Leeds victory, but also the Championship title on goal difference and a perfect way to finish the season!
The Striker speaking in the interview clarified his situation
“I’ve been only focused on this season so far and let’s say two or three days [from now], we’ll start talking and see what’s happening. I don’t know what the future holds but I can just say that I love [the fans],”
“I can’t put into words what I’m feeling right now. It’s a dream come true for me to score the winning goal and to take this championship. I think throughout this season we showed that we deserve it, we deserve this trophy, we deserve to finish in the first spot and we’re super happy. I’m so glad it happened.”

With Leeds United now back in the Premier League, the club is confident of securing a permanent deal for Manor Solomon. Having joined Spurs on a free transfer, any sale would represent pure profit for the North London side… an appealing prospect ahead of the transfer window. Given Solomon’s limited impact at Tottenham and his strong showing at Elland Road, a permanent move appears to be the most logical step forward. It would offer the player stability and game time while allowing both clubs to benefit from a clean and mutually advantageous arrangement.
