Not Solomon- Leeds United linked with €35 million move for Tottenham attacker

Newly-promoted Premier League club Leeds United want to sign Tottenham Hotspur forward Richarlison
Tottenham Hotspur have been vying for a move to bring in a new striker in the upcoming summer transfer window, given the lack of backup to Dominic Solanke.
Richarlison has struggled to find his feet at Hotspur Way after moving to Spurs in a highly anticipated transfer from Everton in the summer of 2022. He has failed to showcase his true potential and live up to the £60m price tag at White Hart Lane, owing to his chronic injury issues and lack of consistency.
This has curtailed the Brazilian forward’s appearances in the famous white shirt. Now, the Lilywhites have been actively looking to replace the 27-year-old in the upcoming summer transfer window, given the frustrations among the club bosses regarding his availability concerns, complemented by his consistent time in the treatment room.

Everton have been showing an interest in re-signing the versatile attacker in the last couple of months, with head coach David Moyes viewing him as a potential replacement for the impending free agent Dominic Calvert-Lewin. However, the Toffees are not expected to have a free run at Richarlison as a new Premier League entrant also want the Tottenham striker.
According to an exclusive report from The Boy Hotspur, newly-promoted Leeds United are also keeping tabs on Richarlison’s situation at Tottenham. They will need to splash €35 million in order to sign him from Spurs.
Leeds United are back in the Premier League after a brilliant season under Daniel Farke. They were crowned champions after a 2-1 victory over Plymouth Argyle on Saturday. Interestingly, a 91st-minute strike from Tottenham loanee Manor Solomon ensured Daniel Farke’s side piped Burnley to the Championship title on goal difference.

The Whites are expected to be busy in the summer transfer window, trying to bolster their squad sufficiently in a bid to maintain their top-flight status. And in a search for Premier League-proven commodities, they have set their sights on Richarlison, who appears likely to be on his way out after three seasons at N17.

Leeds are already planning to sign Solomon permanently from Spurs after his successful loan spell. Now, them expressing an interest in acquiring Richarlison’s services as well makes things interesting. If the Tottenham chiefs are seriously considering offers for the South American, they would want a bidding war to erupt between Leeds and Everton.
At 27, Richarlison would also hope to continue in the Premier League, and a move away from White Hart Lane must also suit all the parties.
