Fabio Paratici wants ex-Dortmund boss to replace Postecoglou at Tottenham

Edin Terzic eyed as a repalcement for Ange Postecoglou at Tottenham Hotspur
Tottenham Hotspur are looking to bring in a new manager in the summer. The Lilywhites have endured a tough domestic campaign under Ange Postecoglou and they sit 16th in the Premier League table. The season has not gone to plan for the Australian manager and he has been under the spotlight for all the wrong reasons as well in recent months.
However, the ex-Celtic boss has managed to reach the Europa League final with Spurs. The Lilywhites have a strong chance of ending their trophy drought and bring silverware back to N17. Winning the competition would also ensure Tottenham participate in the Champions League next season. This could be key as Spurs are facing a massive summer ahead and Champions League football would ensure that new players could join the club’s project.

But Ange Postecoglou may not be at the helm next season to oversee a rebuild. Daniel Levy has already started looking for managerial replacements for next summer. Bournemouth manager Andoni Iraola and Crystal Palace Oliver Glasner are strongly linked to the club for next season.
Fabio Paratici wants to bring Edin Terzic to Tottenham
Tottenham are looking to act fast and bring in a managerial replacement in the summer. The Lilywhites need a proper rebuild next season as they aim to close the gap on their rivals and compete at the top end of the Premier League table. Daniel Levy needs to ensure that Spurs hire an attack-minded coach who develops young talents.
Fabio Paratici is linked with a return to N17 and the Lilywhites have received a massive boost in their efforts to attract a new manager and new players. Speaking on The Done Deal Show, Ben Jacobs has said (as transcribed by TBR Football),
“As I reported a few weeks ago, my understanding on Ange Postecoglou isn’t win the Europa League or bust, it’s a case of if Spurs get Champions League that massively changes their summer and their project, but it doesn’t guarantee Postecoglou will stay in a job.”
Jacobs added,
“It’s possible, not definite yet, but there’s potential that Fabio Paratici will re-join the club, and I think Paratici is inclined to put Terzic forwards.”
It was reported earlier that former Dortmund boss Edin Terzic was linked with a move to N17 in the summer. The 42-year-old wants to return to management and it is believed that he is open to immediately join Tottenham once the season ends. The German manager did a wonderful job at Dortmund, guiding the team to the Champions League final last season. So, hiring Terzic will certainly be a step in the right direction.

Daniel Levy will need to decide on Ange Postecoglou’s future quickly. The Spurs chairman is facing scrutiny for delaying the decision and making the fans anxious. If Fabio Paratici manages to bring in Edin Terzic to the club, then it will be a masterclass as the 42-year-old is considered to be an up-and-coming manager in European football. But then, will public support waver should Ange Postecoglou win the Europa League? It should provide for an interesting situation indeed.
