“I’m ready”- Tottenham star raring to go as history beckons Ange Postecoglou and Co

Kevin Danso is aiming to lift silverware in his first season at Tottenham
Tottenham Hotspur defender Kevin Danso has made quite an impression in his first few months at N17. The Austrian defender was signed on loan in January, after the Lilywhites suffered multiple injuries at the back. However, the North London club have the obligation of making the deal permanent in the summer. It is expected that the 26-year-old will remain at the club beyond the summer.
The centre-back was brought in at Spurs after Cristian Romero, Micky van de Ven and Radu Dragusin were ruled out of action due to long-term injuries. It is fair to say that the RC Lens loanee has done a good job filling their void. The Austrian has managed to feature 12 times under Ange Postecoglou this season already, and he is aiming to end his first season at the club on a high.

Ange Postecoglou’s men have the chance of ending Spurs’ long-standing trophy drought this season. The Lilywhites have reached the Europa League final and are now within touching distance of winning the competition. Lifting the trophy would also mean that Tottenham would win a European trophy for the first time in 41 years.
Tottenham defender Kevin Danso aiming to win the UEL final
Tottenham have gone 17 years without a trophy now. However, that can end now as the Lilywhites have the chance of winning the Europa League. Fans will be pleased to know that the key defenders have all returned to full fitness as well. That means first-choice centre-back pairing of Cristian Romero and Micky van de Ven will be expected to start the final against Manchester United, barring any new injuries.
But backup defender Kevin Danso is ready to help in any way possible as the crucial game approaches. Speaking to The Standard, Danso said,
“I’m very ready. You don’t know how many opportunities you’re going to get to play in a final and here I am, four months here and there’s already a final. So whatever happens, I’m ready.”

The Austrian added,
“Whatever my role is, I’ll just be supporting the team 100 per cent and doing my best in whatever that role is. You’ve always got to be ready. You never know what’s going to happen and the manager’s always talking to us about taking our opportunities when they come.”
Kevin Danso has suggested that he will be ready to help the team in the final. The 26-year-old also pointed out that he is already playing in a European final in his first four months at N17, so he would be ready to utilise that opportunity to the fullest. Danso also insisted that he would support the team 100 percent, even if he is not starting the game. The centre-back reiterated that he would be ready if Ange Postecoglou calls upon him at any point during the game.
