Tottenham confirm that Tyrese Hall has joined League Two club Notts County on loan for the 2025/26 season
Tottenham Hotspur have one of the famous academies in the Premier League. Hotspur Way has seen some promising talent emerge over in recent years, with Mikey Moore already drawing comparisons with club legend Harry Kane.
Daniel Levy and Co. focused on nurturing young talent and academy products under former Ange Postecoglou. The culture is set to continue with Thomas Frank now at the helm, as evidenced by the signings of Mathys Tel and Kota Takai in this summer transfer window.
Thomas Frank showed during his time at Brentford that he isn’t afraid of handing opportunities to young players, and with Tottenham fighting on all fronts next season, we could see some talents break into his side. However, there are many academy products who are not ready for first-team football and have been farmed out on loan.

Alfie Dorrington and Ashley Phillips have returned to Aberdeen and Stoke City after enjoying loan spells last season. Rangers have signed Moore for the 2025/26 season, as the direct and speedy winger And another academy prospect has now left the club for a temporary switch.
Tyrese Hall joins Notts County on loan
Recent reports suggested that Tyrese Hall was attracting interest from several Championship, League One and League Two clubs.
The 19-year-old has yet to make his senior debut for Tottenham, despite standing out for the Under-21s last season. He has been a regular for the Under-21s in recent seasons, winning the Premier League 2 title in 2023/24.
The versatile midfielder played in Spurs’ 2-2 draw with Wycombe Wanderers in a behind-the-closed-doors friendly at Hotspur Way last month. However, the teenager was not a part of Thomas Frank’s squad for the pre-season tour of Asia.

On Monday, Spurs confirmed that Tyrese Hall has joined Notts County on loan for the ongoing League Two season.
Chance for the youngster to shine in League Two
This will be Hall’s first taste of men’s football as he heads to Notts County- a club where fellow Spurs academy talent George Abbott shone on loan last season. Possibly looking at how Abbott’s loan went, our club chiefs decided to send Hall to the League Two side to foster his development.
Hall is highly rated in North London, but Frank has a stacked midfield unit and possibly did not feel he is ready for regular minutes in the first team. The England youth international will provide creativity and versatility to Martin Paterson’s side. He will want to make the most out of his first loan spell and return back to N17 confident of breaking into the senior side during the 2026/27 term.
