PSG striker Randal Kolo Muani snubs Tottenham Hotspur in the hopes of joining Juventus this summer
Tottenham have still not managed to completely replace Harry Kane ever since the legendary striker moved to pastures new in 2023. The Lilywhites were hoping to utilise the transfer money received from Kane’s sale on a new striker that could fill the void left behind the England international. But it is fair to say that the North London club have still not managed to do that.
The club brought in Dominic Solanke from Bournemouth last summer by spending a fortune. However, the England international looked out of place in the first few games while donning the Lilywhite jersey. The 27-year-old also admitted that he found life ‘difficult’ during the initial months at N17 following his high-profile switch from the Cherries.

To make matters worse, Spurs have still not seen the best of Richarlison during his time at the club. The Brazil international has always played second fiddle at N17, and he also fell down the pecking order under Ange Postecoglou. The constant injuries and the lack of impact on the pitch have not helped his cause either.
Tottenham have no intentions of going for PSG striker Randal Kolo Muani
There is no surprise that Daniel levy is already looking to bring in a new striker for the upcoming season. Signing a new #9 would keep Dominic Solanke on his toes at all times. And it would also force the England international to compete for a spot in the starting eleven under Thomas Frank. This will only benefit the club as players will be more likely to perform at their best at all times.
It was reported earlier that Spurs were eyeing a possible deal to sign PSG outcast Randal Kolo Muani in the summer. The France international spent last season on loan at Juventus and managed to rejuvenate his career. The report also stated that talks between PSG and Juventus to make Kolo Muani’s move permanent fell through as the Serie A giants preferred a loan, rather than signing him permanently.
Now, there is a new update in the transfer saga involving the 26-year-old. As per Fabrizio Romano (via X), Juventus are still convinced that the deal to sign Kolo Muani will get done this month. The player has made it clear that he only wants to join the Serie A giants in the summer, and that has helped Juve to strike a deal with PSG for his exit. Romano also states that Tottenham are not intending to hijack the deal and have conceded defeat in the transfer saga.
Daniel Levy must focus on shifting his focus on alternate targets as Spurs look to strengthen the attacking line. Signing a player that would provide depth in the #9 position is a must if Thomas Frank wants to challenge for more titles going forward. With time running out in the transfer window, the Lilywhites must up their ante and focus on bringing in a quality forward that would provide a different dynamic in the attack.
