Tottenham have a perfect chance a foundation for the rest of the season as they take on PSG in the UEFA Super Cup final on Wednesday. Winning the game would mean that the Lilywhites win another major trophy before the new season even commences. Not only that, but it would also give the players and the coaching staff some momentum heading into the new Premier League campaign.

There is no surprise that Thomas Frank is aiming high by wanting to win trophies from the get-go. The Danish tactician has highlighted that he wants the club to compete on all four fronts next season. Speaking to UEFA’s official website, Frank said,

“It’s a fantastic experience the team and the club got. We need to build on the fact they won a massive trophy in Europe. We would like to win a trophy again.”

The Spurs manager added,

“I would say we need to be better at competing in more than one competition, so that’s the biggest challenge. I’m not in doubt that we can compete, but we need to do that preferably in four different competitions.”

Thomas Frank has indicated that he wants his players to build on the Europa League success next season. The Danish tactician wants to lead the team to glory, and has urged the players to ‘compete hard’ on all four fronts in the upcoming campaign. The Spurs manager has no doubts about the quality his side possesses, and he is hoping that the team steps up in crucial games.

It is important to note that the players are already liking what they are seeing from Thomas Frank. And they are ready to fight for the new manager till the end as Spurs build on last season’s success. The ex-Brentford boss will hope that the fans back the team as well going into next season, as the Lilywhites look to go all the way in all four competitions.
