Manchester City star Savinho favours a move to Tottenham in the coming days for the upcoming season

Among the many names linked to N17, Spurs are in the driver’s seat to land Manchester City star Savinho. The Brazil international is looking for regular game time, and that is something that the Lilywhites are offering him for the upcoming season. The 21-year-old is also keen on a move, provided that his £60m valuation is met.
Now, Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has given his thoughts on Savinho’s uncertain future. Speaking in his pre-match presser, Guardiola said (via Fabrizio Romano),
“The only thing I’m concerned about today is that Savinho will be with us until all the season, and hopefully for many, many years. He’s extraordinary! But at the end, as always, the desire of the player prevails above everything, and after there has to be an agreement with the club. If you don’t take an agreement, the player will be here”.
Pep Guardiola wants Savinho to stay at Manchester City for ‘many years’ as the Brazil international looks all set for a summer switch. The legendary manager believes that the 21-year-old is ‘extraordinary’, and he will be let go if he shows the desire to move to a new club in the coming days. However, Guardiola has also stated that Spurs will need to find an agreement with the Cityzens to sign the attacker, or else he will stay at the Etihad Stadium.
Signing Savinho would instantly elevate the Spurs attack for the upcoming season. The talented forward can either play on the left-flank, or as a right-winger. And his ability to take on the opposition through his pace and skill is something that Thomas Frank would want to add to his team. The 21-year-old has a good shooting range as well, scoring all types of goals for City last season.
