Tottenham Hotspur should go all-in to land both Eberechi Eze and Savinho in the coming days

There is no surprise that Tottenham are looking to bring in two quality players that could fill out the left-wing and the #10 spot in the team respectively. The Lilywhites do not have enough depth in both those positions, so signing quality players to fill out that void will only be seen as a positive. With time running out in the summer transfer window, Daniel Levy will hope to seal the deal for new signings quickly.

One of the two players in question is Crystal Palace star Eberechi Eze. The attacker is linked with a move to Spurs for quite some time now, and he has clearly informed Palace about his eagerness to join the Lilywhites in the coming days. The England international wants to play Champions League football, and has told his teammates that he expects the move to go through.

The other player that Tottenham are looking to sign is Manchester City talent Savinho. The Brazilian is aiming to play regularly this season as he dreams about featuring in the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The 21-year-old is also keen on a move to N17 after Thomas Frank has guaranteed that he will feature regularly for the team.

Is Savinho the right man to play under Thomas Frank at Tottenham?

From what we have seen of Savinho at Manchester City last season and Girona before that; the Brazilian has the ability to play on both wings whilst making similar impact. Not only that, but the 21-year-old can also operate as a #10 as and when needed. His versatility, along with his massive potential and high ceiling, makes him an ideal candidate to join Tottenham in the coming days.

So how will he fit in at Tottenham under Thomas Frank? The Danish tactician relies heavily on his wingers to create goal-scoring opportunities or become goal-scorers themselves. The perfect example for this is what Thomas Frank managed to do at Brentford with Bryan Mbeumo. The Cameroon international cut inside at all times, surpassing the striker and making a darting run behind the defence.

Savinho will add dynamism to the Tottenham Hotspur attack under Thomas Frank.

Savinho will be expected to do the same thing while playing on the left-flank for the Lilywhites. The 21-year-old has brilliant dribbling ability, and tends to beat the defenders with ease. This will also come in handy as he could use his pace and skills to skip past the defenders and form a connection with the striker up top. And we have all seen how good he is with both feet, which will be a massive benefit as he could be asked to operate on the right-flank or as a #10 as well.

How will Eberechi Eze fit in under Thomas Frank at Tottenham?

Let’s switch our focus to Eberechi Eze now. The England international will fit right in at N17 under Thomas Frank, as the Danish tactician likes his #10 to be creative and score an odd-goal every now and then. Eze has shown time and again that he can either operate as an attacking midfielder, or as a left-winger. He excels in handling both those roles perfectly, and tends to stand out in games by rotating between the two positions more often than not.

Also, Thomas Frank likes his team to excel in transitions, so adding Eze to the mix will give the Lilywhites some extra manpower to get the ball from one end of the pitch to the other. Adding the England international’s ability to carry the ball and cover up space, as well as, his eye for a killer pass makes him the perfect candidate to do well under Thomas Frank.

The Crystal Palace attacker is also unpredictable when it comes to playing against compact, low-block defences. He can smoothly transition from an out-an-out winger to a #10 as and when needed to find space to make something happen. Not only that, but the 27-year-old will allow Thomas Frank to be tactically flexible during games. The only downside to his game is that Eze is not fast enough and does not do enough to win the ball back when the team is defending.

All-in-all, both players are going to be massive additions to the squad and are expected to get straight into the starting eleven without any doubt. Fans will hope that Daniel Levy manages to seal the deal for the pair quickly, before the Lilywhites take on Manchester City next weekend.
