Now, Jamie Redknapp has also given his verdict on Thomas Frank, urging the fans to remain patient if things go south in the coming weeks. Speaking to Hayters TV, Redknapp said,
“I watched the game on Wednesday night and I thought they were brilliant against PSG. They were aggressive, they were fast, they got after them, they were very well organised.”
The ex-Spurs player added,
“A lot of the things that we didn’t see last year with defensive set-pieces and attacking set-pieces. So, Thomas Frank will do a really good job there. He’s a good guy, he knows what he’s doing, but I think you still have to be a bit patient here. I think there’s a lot to do.”
Jamie Redknapp believes Tottenham were brilliant against PSG and put the French giants on a chokehold for most parts of the game. The ex-player added that Thomas Frank’s focus on set-pieces was clear to see as the team looked organised and quick in transitions.
