Thomas Frank will hope that he can make a positive impact at Tottenham and build on the UEL success

Taking on the Tottenham job is not as easy as it sounds, and Thomas Frank will surely agree with that. The Lilywhites are constantly being watched by the media for any little blunder. And one small slip-up by the manager or the team gets scrutinised by the media for weeks to come as it generates headlines easily.

After how last season’s domestic campaign panned out for Spurs, all eyes will be on Thomas Frank as he aims to finish stronger in the Premier League this time around. The Danish tactician has already indicated several times that he wants to make Tottenham ‘serial winners’ during his time at N17. It is easier said than done, and the ex-Brentford boss will hope that he can stay true to his promise.

Tottenham boss Thomas Frank should be given time to succeed at N17 after positive start to new campaign.

As of now, the Lilywhites look in a much better place than they were last season. A strong performance against PSG last week, followed up by a convincing win against Burnley in the first Premier League game of the season was a nice way for Thomas Frank to kickstart a new era at N17. But the Lilywhites must now look forward to taking each game as it comes and not get complacent.

Jamie Redknapp has urged Tottenham fans to be patient with Thomas Frank

Positive results and consistent performances cannot just happen overnight. And Tottenham fans will be aware of that as they hope to see Thomas Frank lead the club to glory in the coming years. The Danish tactician also knows the magnitude of the job at N17, and he is hoping to make his mark at the North London club as he kickstarts a new era at Spurs.

Now, Jamie Redknapp has also given his verdict on Thomas Frank, urging the fans to remain patient if things go south in the coming weeks. Speaking to Hayters TV, Redknapp said,

“I watched the game on Wednesday night and I thought they were brilliant against PSG. They were aggressive, they were fast, they got after them, they were very well organised.”

The ex-Spurs player added,

“A lot of the things that we didn’t see last year with defensive set-pieces and attacking set-pieces. So, Thomas Frank will do a really good job there. He’s a good guy, he knows what he’s doing, but I think you still have to be a bit patient here. I think there’s a lot to do.”

Jamie Redknapp believes Tottenham were brilliant against PSG and put the French giants on a chokehold for most parts of the game. The ex-player added that Thomas Frank’s focus on set-pieces was clear to see as the team looked organised and quick in transitions. Redknapp believes that the Danish tactician is the right man for the Lilywhites, urging the fans to be patient with him and give him time to make a mark at N17.
