Thomas Frank confirms Tottenham Hotspur are far from done in the summer transfer window

Tottenham Hotspur have had quite a busy 2025 summer transfer window in which they have seen important departures as well as some important arrivals. In the former regard, the exits of Son Heung-Min and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg have been the most prominent, while in the latter, Palhinha and Mohammed Kudus have been the biggest names to arrive.

There are still some days left in the summer transfer window, and after all these moves, Spurs’ work in the transfer market is still not complete. The North London side has been linked with several players, including Eberechi Eze and Savinho, in recent days, while Yves Bissouma has been linked with an exit.

Tottenham opened their 2025-26 Premier League campaign with a good 3-0 win over Burnley. After the match, Thomas Frank addressed his customary press conference, and talked about different aspects of the team.

Thomas Frank confirms Spurs’ are looking for further signings

As per a transcript of this presser, provided by Football.london, The English tactician was also asked about his club’s aims in the transfer market at this late phase of the window, and Frank confirmed that Spurs were still working on some signings. In this regard, the Tottenham manager said:

“We are definitely in the market. I said it before, Daniel and Johan and Vinai are working relentlessly to try to do their best to improve the squad, but we only want to improve the squad if we can get players in that can improve squad. I want to keep it like this.”

One can argue that Tottenham already have quite a good team. However, the North London side will be competing for several trophies this season, mainly the Premier League and the UEFA Champions League, and more squad depth should certainly be welcome.

This is particularly the case for the attack, which would definitely miss a player as big as Son Heung-Min. Mohammed Kudus and Richarlison excited the fans with their performances in the first game of the season, but more offensive arrivals are needed for such a hectic season.

Hopefully, Tottenham would land one of Eberechi Eze or Savinho before the transfer window closes to provide further ammunition to Thomas Frank for the attack.
