“He’s got everything”- Micah Richards believes 27-year-old Premier League star has the attributes to succeed at Tottenham

Micah Richards believes Eberechi Eze will succeed at Tottenham Hotspur

Tottenham Hotspur showcased their attacking prowess in the very first match of their 2025-26 Premier League campaign as they beat Burnley with a 3-0 scoreline. Richarlison and Mohammed Kudus both impressed with their performances in this game as they got 2 goals and 2 assists respectively.

While this offensive display in the opening Premier League game was quite convincing, it looks like Spurs are looking to further bolster their attack before the end of this summer transfer window.

In recent weeks, they have been strongly linked with the Crystal Palace forward Eberechi Eze. In fact, they have reportedly already reached an agreement with the Englishman, and the player has also relayed his desire to play for the North London side to Crystal Palace. As things stand, the two clubs are negotiating a transfer for the attacker.

There is no doubt that Eze would be a very good addition to Thomas Frank’s team. As per a report from TBR Football, the pundit and the former Manchester City defender Micah Richards also believed joining Tottenham would be a good move for the forward.

Micah Richards believes Eberechi Eze will succeed at Tottenham Hotspur.

Talking about this potential move, the English commentator said:

“He’s got everything. In terms of what he can do, when he receives the ball, when he wants to make his assist, where he can drive with the ball, and just the confidence he plays with as well.”

“I think sometimes the players have got all the attributes, but they don’t have the confidence. And I believe he’s had the time at QPR to work through difficult times… It helped him grow that character that you need, but he is a top player.”

Spurs do not have a lot of time

There is little excuse to doubt Micah’s words as Eze has amply showcased his abilities playing in the Premier League in the last few years. His creativity and technical prowess would definitely be a great addition to Thomas Frank’s attack.

However, time is of the essence, as the transfer window closes in less than two weeks, and Tottenham would have to complete this operation as soon as possible to ensure they do not miss out on their desired candidate.
