Tottenham fans have lost their collective minds after Arsenal land 11th hour Eberechi Eze punch
Tottenham Hotspur have a lot of work to do in the final days of the summer transfer window.
Spurs received a major blow in their transfer plans on Wednesday evening. They had been tracking Eberechi Eze throughout the transfer window and looked set to win the race for the Crystal Palace ace. However, in a shock twist, bitter rivals Arsenal entered the race and hijacked the Lilywhites’ deal for Eberechi Eze.
This leaves Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy in a very tricky position with just 12 days left in the transfer window. Given the backlash Levy has been facing for the Eze failure, a top signing may be the only way to win back trust at N17.
Tottenham fans crash out over Eze joining Arsenal
Arsenal’s dramatic move to steal Eze under the noses of bitter rivals Tottenham in the wake of Kai Havertz’s injury is a big statement of intent. After days of complex and arduous negotiations between Levy and Palace CEO Steve Parish, Arsenal had appeared to steal in within a matter of mere hours.
This has already become the mother of all transfer hijackings, especially with how it is another North London derby victory. Eze’s move to the Gunners is not simply a devastating psychological blow aimed at Thomas Frank’s Tottenham, but also a clear signal that they are ready to mount a serious Premier League title challenge again.

This has understandably left the Tottenham fans feeling frustrated as they come crashing back down to earth after such a positive day in North London, with the England international now all set to join Mikel Arteta’s side.
An Arsenal fan posted a compilation of reactions of Tottenham fans venting their anger and frustration after seeing the club lose out on the signing of Eze. An X user named EmanDaGoon shared the video mocking the Spurs supporters. Below are some of the angry reactions of our fans on X.

Now that Levy has failed to get a deal for Eze over the deal after it appeared as though an agreement was close, with the player already agreeing personal terms and expressing his desire to make the move, discontent toward the Tottenham chairman from the fans could reach an all-time high.
