Tottenham boss Thomas Frank will hope that his team continues to play in the same way in upcoming games
Tottenham manager Thomas Frank could not have asked for a better start to his tenure at N17. Five goals scored and zero goals conceded in the first two Premier League games of the season seems like the ideal start for the Danish tactician. The Lilywhites have looked head and shoulders clear of their opposition in both those games as well.
Fans can now see why the ex-Brentford boss was hired as the new Spurs manager in the first place. Credit where its due, Thomas Frank has managed to implement his ideas from minute-one and the players seem to be working in cohesion during games. Not only that, but the Danish tactician has also managed to make the Lilywhites a tough nut to crack defensively.

The newly appointed Tottenham manager was quick to indicate that he wants to make the Lilywhites ‘serial winners’ during his time at N17. Well, if the team continues to perform like they have in the first three games of the season, then there is no reason why they do not have a chance of lifting some silverware in the coming years.
Thomas Frank has transformed Tottenham during his time at N17
Tottenham managed to finish the Premier League campaign just a place above the relegation zone not so long ago. And now, the Lilywhites look like a different team altogether with almost the same players in their ranks… all thanks to Thomas Frank. It is fair to say that the Danish tactician has managed to get the best out of his players in the first few games of the new season.
Ex-Chelsea star Joe Cole has also praised the way the ex-Brentford boss has managed to endure a positive start to life at N17. Speaking on TNT Sports, Cole said,
“Brilliant, I said it at the start of the season, I think Thomas Frank is the signing of the season. I think coming into this club, he is going to calm things, he is going to bring everyone together.”
The ex-Chelsea star added,
“That was an outstanding performance from Tottenham from back to front. There could have been five or six men of the match, it was fantastic. Thomas Frank is really showing his worth, I think it is a great coup, and Tottenham are very lucky to have him.”
Joe Cole believes Tottenham hiring Thomas Frank as the new manager in the summer has been their ‘signing of the season.’ The ex-Chelsea star believes that the Danish tactician will manage to unite everyone in the club, just like he did at Brentford. Cole also hinted that Spurs are lucky to have Thomas Frank after the Lilywhites managed to beat Manchester City convincingly away from home.
Now, fans will hope that the North London club builds on this momentum and manages to go into the international break with zero losses to their name. It is a tough ask, but Thomas Frank’s men seem calm and reassured during games. So, it is possible that they might be able to go deep in one of the cup competitions as well if they continue playing like this.
