Tottenham are in advanced negotiations with Galatasaray for the transfer of Yves Bissouma
It is now an open secret that Tottenham Hotspur want to sign a creative midfielder and a winger before the transfer window slams shut next week.
The north Londoners have been embarrassed a fair few times in this transfer window due to them missing out on several players, thanks to the incompetency shown by chairman Daniel Levy. And now as we have entered the final week of the transfer window, Daniel Levy and Co. are scrambling for new additions to bolster Thomas Frank’s squad further.
Simultaneously, Spurs are also looking to offload a few players who are not a part of the new coach’s plans moving forward. One of those players is Yves Bissouma.
Yves Bissouma has been dropped by Thomas Frank for disciplinary reasons at the start of the new season, which has seen him miss games against Paris Saint-Germain, Burnley and Manchester City. The combative midfielder has failed to find consistency in a Tottenham shirt since moving from Brighton and Hove Albion in the summer of 2022.
Having entered the final year of his contract and no discussions over new terms, the Hotspur Way chiefs want to cash him in this summer.

Tottenham outcast agrees personal terms with Galatasaray
Everton have expressed an interest in signing Bissouma from Spurs earlier this week. David Moyes wants to bolster his midfield unit and has identified the Mali international as an option. However, it looks like the 28-year-old is heading to Turkey this summer.
According to reliable French journalist Fabrice Hawkins on X, Bissouma has agreed personal terms with Galatasaray. Negotiations between Galatasaray and Tottenham are in the final stages for the midfielder, although it is not known whether it is for a loan or full sale.

Spurs signed defensive midfielder Joao Palhinha on a season-long loan from Bayern Munich earlier in the transfer window, which immediately pushed Bissouma down the pecking order. Add that to his indiscipline, he has fallen completely out of favour under Frank and is now on the verge of ending his time at N17.
From turning up late, poor attitude and sportsmanship during games, there has always been the question of whether the midfielder possesses the right mindset to succeed at Spurs. Bissouma’s inconsistent, error-strewn tenure at Tottenham is now coming to an end, with Galatasaray keen to sign him. As he is into the final year of his contract, chances are that he departs for the Turkish champions permanently or on loan with an obligation to buy.
