Richarlison will hope to continue his good run for Tottenham against Bournemouth before the international break commences
One player that has taken his chances for Tottenham this season is Richarlison. The Brazil international has gotten off to a flyer under Thomas Frank. And it is safe to say that the 28-year-old is considered to be the first-choice striker at N17 right now. Not many expected the prolific forward to score a brace and grab an assist in the first two games of the new Premier League season.
Thomas Frank wanted to get off to a fast start during his tenure at N17, and Richarlison has just managed to make it possible with his brilliance. However, there may be a bit of concern amongst the fan base that the ex-Everton star might be going through a purple patch right now.

The Brazilian has time and again showed glimpses of his quality during his time at N17. But he has not been able to covert it into consistent performances, making everyone question if he will ever to be replicate the form he once showed for Everton before making the switch. But it is can be said that Richarlison is looking more determined than ever to repay Thomas Frank’s faith in him this season.
Richarlison’s brilliant Tottenham form earned him a Brazil call-up
After a summer full of uncertainty, Richarlison has finally put an end to the question marks surrounding his future at N17. The Brazil international has already shown in the first few games of the season what he brings to the team. And Theo Walcott was right to point out that the Spurs No.9 is ‘working his socks off’ to prove that he is still capable of leading the line for Tottenham.
Thomas Frank has now taken the opportunity of sharing his thoughts on Richarlison’s call-up for Brazil for the upcoming international break. Speaking in his pre-match presser (via Beanyman Sports), Frank said,
“Very happy for Richie. I think it is well deserved after starting the season strongly. Three strong games, three strong performances. Hopefully he can carry it into the game tomorrow.”
It is fair to say that Richarlison has deserved the national team call-up. However, Spurs will hope that Carlo Ancellotti manages the 28-year-old’s workload and gives him enough time on the pitch to keep him match-fit. Considering the injury issues the ex-Everton has gone through during his time at N17, the last thing Thomas Frank will want is for the forward to get injured.
Richarlison will hope to go into the international with the good momentum he has built during the first few games of the new season. And with a game against Bournemouth coming up this weekend, the Brazilian will hope to make an impact and maintain the good form he has shown in recent weeks.
