Tottenham Hotspur are ready to make a move for Morgan Gibbs-White in January

Tottenham Hotspur had quite an active end to the 2025 summer transfer window as they were involved in several operations right till the deadline day, and were also able to successfully complete some of these operations.

For instance, they completed the signing of the French forward Randal Kolo Muani from Paris Saint-Germain on loan. Similarly, they were also able to find a new club for the forward Manor Solomon, who will be playing for the La Liga side Villarreal on loan for this season. Before that, Spurs had also landed the Dutch playmaker Xavi Simons to strengthen one of the weaker areas of Thomas Frank’s team.

However, the North London side had also faced several setbacks in the market before that. The most notable of these was Arsenal hijacking their move for the Crystal Palace forward Eberechi Eze. But before that, the Lilywhites had also failed to land Morgan Gibbs-White from Nottingham Forest, who signed a new contract with his current side.

Spurs already planning a January move for Morgan Gibbs-White

Still, it seems like Tottenham have not given up on the English midfielder despite the end of the summer transfer window yesterday. As per a report from CaughtOffside, several Premier League sides remain interested in the midfielder and his future is set to remain a hot topic in the upcoming winter transfer window.

Tottenham Hotspur are ready to make a move for Morgan Gibbs-White in January.

Spurs remain one of the sides most keenly interested in the midfielder and are now planning a January move for him. Meanwhile, other Premier League sides like Aston Villa, Newcastle United, and West Ham United are also interested in the midfielder.

Having already landed Xavi Simons, the need for another playmaker is not as urgent at Tottenham as it was a few weeks ago. For now, Thomas Frank has the time to see how the Dutch forward plays for his side till the winter transfer window, and if he is not performing up to par, the option of Morgan Gibbs-White would be a highly attractive one for Spurs.

However, having just signed a new contract with Nottingham Forest, getting the Englishman would not really be easy for Spurs, especially with the other Premier League sides also interested in his signing.
