Tottenham Hotspur consider making their move for Monaco star Lamine Camara
Generally, Tottenham Hotspur have had the propensity of balancing their business in the transfer market by targeting both proven talents who are ready to contribute to the achievement of the team’s goals immediately and youngsters who have the potential to grow into top-class players.
This trend was quite apparent in the last transfer window, as they got a proven player in Joao Palhinha, while also signing young players who can take the next steps in the North London team, i.e., Kota Takai, Xavi Simons, and Randal Kolo Muani.
Meanwhile, Spurs are also keeping their eyes on other emerging talents across Europe and beyond. In this regard, some recent reports suggested that the Lilywhite scouts were keeping an eye on the AS Monaco midfielder Lamine Camara.
A further update on this matter has been provided by CaughtOffside, which claims that after the scouting trip undertaken last weekend, Spurs are now considering whether they should make a move for the Senegalese midfielder.

The Senegalese could be a useful addition to the Spurs squad
For now, it remains to be seen how this story develops, but there is no doubt that Camara has the potential, especially with his physical and technical attributes, to succeed in the Premier League. Furthermore, his performances in the French Ligue 1 so far have also been quite encouraging in this regard.
As far as Tottenham are concerned, they can definitely do with a player of the Senegalese’s qualities, who will bring more steel to their midfield and help with the defensive side of things, and would bring a different profile for the midfield. They also have the financial muscle to convince Monaco to part ways with the Senegalese midfielder, who might also look to join his international teammate Pape Matar Sarr at the North London club.
The 21-year-old’s arrival could help the team especially if Yves Bissouma, who continues to be linked with a move away from the club since Thomas Frank’s arrival, ends up leaving in the winter.
For now, it remains to be seen whether Tottenham will decide to pursue the player after having scouted him last weekend.
