Tottenham have gotten off to a flying start under Thomas Frank in the Premier League this season

There is a buzz around N17 currently as Tottenham are enjoying a brilliant spell in the Premier League under Thomas Frank. The Lilywhites have managed to kickstart a new era at Hotspur way with a bang, winning four of their opening five matches this season. Not only that, but the North London club also sits joint-top of the league table, proving that they are willing to go toe-to-toe with the best teams.

Looking at how last season ended for Spurs in domestic competitions; fans will take what they get under Thomas Frank and enjoy every second of their good form this time around. The Lilywhites finished just a place above the relegation zone in the league last year, so seeing the team fight at the top-end of the Premier League seems like a dream at this point.

But credit where its due, Thomas Frank is walking the talk by putting the money where his mouth is. The Danish tactician had clearly indicated that he wanted his team to compete hard on all four fronts this season. The Spurs manager added,

“I’m trying really to focus on our ourselves and our performances and what we can do. It is so easy to get dragged into something you can’t control. I also dream and hope but I’m a little bit closer to the action, so I need to stay level-headed and focus on next training because it needs to be perfect.”

Thomas Frank has made it clear that he is living in the present and focusing on the performances of his team. The Danish tactician understands that the fans are ‘dreaming’ about unrealistic scenarios following a strong start to the Premier League campaign, but the ex-Brentford boss is not getting ahead of himself. Frank believes that he is trying to stay level-headed instead to give the club a good chance of ending the season on a high.

Is it too soon to dream about another silverware? In all honesty, it is. But as Thomas Frank said, football is all about dreaming, and that is exactly what the Spurs fans are doing right now. Given how well they
