Thomas Frank was forced to submit a reduced 22-man squad for the Champions League after Spurs were unable to meet the required home-grown quota. The omission of Mathys Tel caused debate among supporters, but ultimately it highlighted the logistical problem Spurs face when building a squad packed with overseas quality.
