Fabrizio Romano confirms no negotiations are underway for Tottenham Hotspur legend Harry Kane
It not even been a full month since the summer transfer window closed, but transfer news involving the big clubs across Europe are once again in full flow. This is also the case for Tottenham Hotspur, who are being linked with some high-profile names to even further strengthen their team in January.
One name that has been linked with Spurs and which would have particularly appealed to the sensibilities of the Lilywhite club’s fans is Harry Kane. In recent days, there were reports linking him with a return to the North London club, and these links were further fuelled when Thomas Frank himself admitted that he would be more than happy if the English star returned to Tottenham.
However, in his exclusive article for GiveMeSport, the journalist Fabrizio Romano has made it clear that there are no concrete negotiations on-going for the striker, and nothing is expected to take place in the coming few months either, especially as Kane is fully focused on Bayern Munich.
In fact, the former Tottenham star believes that the Bavarian club can go on to win all the big trophies this season, including the UEFA Champions League, and thus, he is fully focused on his helping his current side achieve its objectives.

Furthermore, there is also the World Cup scheduled to take place in less than a year, and he does not want any transfer-related distractions before the mega-event.
Tottenham remain keen on the legendary striker
Still, Spurs will have a head-start over any other club if they decide to pursue the Englishman, as they have a priority right on him. However, they can enjoy this right only when Kane decides to leave Bayern. In such a case, or in case other clubs send proposals for the striker, the North London side will be notified.
Neither of these things have happened so far, as Kane remains focused on Bayern Munich. Meanwhile, Thomas Frank also has quite a healthy variety of attacking options at his disposal, as the likes of Mohammed Kudus, Xavi Simons, and Randal Kolo Muani were brought in last summer. Still, when the time comes, Spurs fans would definitely love to see Harry Kane once again in a Tottenham shirt.
