Harry Kane touted to select Tottenham Hotspur over other Premier League teams
Tottenham Hotspur had been looking to bring in a new number nine in the recently concluded summer transfer window. And Daniel Levy did make a surprise move on the deadline day when he brought in Kolo Muani in a loan transfer to N17.
But while the Frenchman’s stay is rather temporary, Solanke has not quite been able to fill the void that Harry Kane left up front. The North Londoners do need to look for a #9 in 2026. And this is where they could turn to the man himself. Who better to take up Harry Kane’s role than Harry Kane himself?
The England international has been linked with a move away from Bayern Munich given the reports of a £56.7m release clause in his contract which activates in 2026. And Tottenham could possibly resign the 32-year-old who is running riots in the Bundesliga.
Thomas Frank also spoke about his desire to have Harry Kane at Hotspur Way, further boosting the Lilywhites’ hold on the situation.
Tottenham can sign Kane in less than release clause

And speaking about the rumours linking Tottenham to resigning Kane, former Lilywhites head scout Bryan King insisted that there would already be discussions taking place on possible fees and valuations internally to land his signature for a price less than his release clause.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with Tottenham News, he said:
“I would say that the £56m that has been mentioned is a figure that is going to be discussed.
“But I don’t think it would be £56m. I think Bayern Munich have already recouped a big majority of the money that they paid out for him in shirt sales and sponsorships.
“It would be a great way for Spurs to bring an ambassador back, and somebody to have an influence over the academy and the club.
“I think Kane’s heart is for Tottenham more than it is towards anyone else. I certainly couldn’t see him going anywhere else other than Tottenham.”
TTLB Opinion

While many would question signing a 32-year-old, Kane is ageing like fine wine. He has accumulated 14 goal contributions from six Bundesliga games this term.
To add to it, he also records a staggering 102 goals in 105 games that he has played for Bayern Munich in all competitions. These numbers are elite. Maybe the best in Europe at the moment.
Given that Tottenham do lack a reliable top-quality striker in the current roster, bringing in Harry Kane even on a short-term role is worth his weight in gold. He brings that goal upfront, but he also brings that leadership and ability to kickstart the project that the Lilywhites have undertaken under the Dane man at the helm.
And then, for the North Londoners faithful around the globe, it would just not look right to watch him in the Premier League but donning any other badge given the links with the likes of United and Chelsea.
