Tottenham Hotspur will need to win trophies to retain Mohammed Kudus
Mohammed Kudus has barely had time to unpack his bags in North London, given he moved to Tottenham Hotspur just back in summer. But the Lilywhites may already be facing a challenge to keep hold of the Ghanaian.
Tottenham need to compete at the top consistently to keep Kudus

Given that the North Londoners brought him in a marquee transfer in the recently concluded summer window. He has quickly established himself as an integral part of the Lilywhites structure under Thomas Frank.
And given this blistering start to life in N17, whispers are beginning to surface about Kudus and his future if Tottenham fail to maintain a competitive trajectory. Tottenham News reports that Kudus would be turning his head to elsewhere if trophies don’t come through at Hotspur Way.
Bringing Kudus in a £55m deal was seen as a massive coup for the North Londoners, and that is already proving true given how he has been playing of late. We saw that European football was a key part of bringing Kudus to N17. Looking at this project at Tottenham, he saw a young team and a hungry club striving for success. But his future could hinge on the Lilywhites’ ability to stay competitive in the Premier League as well as the Champions League.
So if Thomas Frank & Co. starts falling short in terms of performances or things start stalling in the English top tier, he would start relooking at his options.
To start with, the Dane head coach needs to ensure a top four finish. Qualifying for the Champions League and competing among the European elite. And then this needs to be backed in the transfer window. Signings are what drive the club if they get the right profile. And that is also something Kudus will be keeping a keen eye on.
TTLB Opinion

Tottenham cannot allow history to repeat itself. Mohammed Kudus has the ability to set this new chapter in the same way as Bale or Kane once did at N17. But for the project to be a success, Tottenham also needs to keep up with his ambition.
As long as Tottenham continue to build under Frank in the Champions League and challenge for silverware, Kudus has the potential to be the heartbeat of this team. But if the Lilywhites drop off, there will be European giants waiting in the wings to pounce on his signature.
