Mohammed Kudus has made the right-wing position his own at Tottenham this season
At the moment, Mohammed Kudus is the only Tottenham attacker consistently posing a threat in the final third. The Ghanaian has been proving his worth at N17 week after week, emerging as the one player who regularly makes an impact for the Lilywhites going forward. However, the growing overreliance on the 25-year-old to deliver has become a worrying trend for the North London club as the season progresses.
Kudus has developed an excellent understanding with Pedro Porro on the right flank this season. The pair complement each other’s games perfectly — Porro’s constant overlapping runs allow Kudus to drift inside, creating chaos for opposition defences. So far, the Ghanaian has registered the most assists in the Premier League this season, with four to his name already.

The former West Ham winger has repeatedly shown that he is Tottenham’s most dangerous outlet in attack. Even in the recent home defeat to Aston Villa, Kudus stood out as the only Spurs player who managed to make a genuine impact, creating multiple chances from the right wing while his teammates struggled to find a breakthrough.
Mohammed Kudus is ready to make his mark at Tottenham this season
It’s fair to say that Mohammed Kudus has been one of Tottenham’s standout performers this season. The dynamic winger is justifying the significant investment Spurs made in him over the summer, showcasing his ability to attack on either side from the right flank — a skill that has continually tormented opposition defenders.
Journalist Alasdair Gold has backed the Ghanaian to maintain his impressive form as Tottenham look to build on last season’s Europa League success. Speaking on his own YouTube Channel, Gold said,
“Spurs are just so reliant on him. Teams just don’t know how to deal with him because he will naturally draw two people across because one person cannot handle him. He’s got this amazing ability to look like he’s heading back infield, spin and go down the touch line. He will create so many goals this season.”
Gold believes Kudus has become the focal point of Tottenham’s attack under Thomas Frank. His trickery, pace, and unpredictability down the right flank have caused endless problems for defenders, while his ability to retain possession and attract multiple opponents helps create space for his teammates in dangerous areas.
However, as Gold and many others have hinted, Spurs cannot afford to rely solely on Kudus for creativity and goals. At some point, the Ghanaian’s form may dip – and when that happens, others must step up. If Tottenham are serious about competing on all fronts this season, they will need more players to share the attacking burden rather than depending entirely on their in-form winger.
