Tottenham Hotspur star Mohammed Kudus admits he is feeling better ahead of the clash vs Manchester United
Tottenham Hotspur returned to winning ways in the midweek as the North Londoners got the better of Copenhagen on a 4-0 scoreline. It was a scoreline and a performance which silenced the critics who have been making a lot of noise of late.
But with fixtures coming up thick and fast, Thomas Frank has no time to rest as his attention now shifts to this weekend’s headline heavyweight game against Manchester United. High-flying Ruben Amorim’s men visit Tottenham Hotspur Stadium for what is a highly anticipated Big Six clash, with each club looking to prove that they have taken that required stance on the right side.

But a lot of eyes will also be on Mohammed Kudus. The Ghanaian wide forward took no time to become one of the most influential players in the current roster at Thomas Frank’s disposal. He made that high-profile switch across London from West Ham United, and it has been more of a statement signing for the Lilywhites. He has been playing some excellent football on that right flank in the Premier League as well as the Champions League.
But a knock ruled him out of yesterday night’s win. And this has raised concerns among the North Londoners’ supporters, given that they are to welcome Manchester United this Saturday.
Kudus provides injury update

Speaking after the game, the former West Ham forward was giving a bit of an insight into his knock, and when he was asked whether he would be available for this weekend’s clash, he said (via. Jake Sanders on Social Media):
“It’s getting better, yes.”

Now this will be more like music to the Lilywhites fans. Because while we saw Brennan Johnson step up on that right flank to fill in for Kudus (and the former Nottingham winger also got a goal before seeing a late red), there is no denying that the dynamic presence that Kudus brings to the final third gives Spurs a massive advantage.
While Kudus is a doubt, Tottenham surely have an added absentee to the list in Lucas Bergvall. The Swede is sure to miss the game this weekend after his concussion in the opening minutes against Chelsea last week. This puts that additional pressure on the Dane head coach, who has already been shuffling with a lot of injuries in the ongoing campaign.
It is to be seen if Kudus makes it fit for this Saturday’s game against Man United, but if he doesn’t, who would you start in that right wing role? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
