Son Heung-min is set for an emotional return to Tottenham Stadium on the 9th of December.
Many Tottenham supporters still cherish that night from earlier this year when the Lilywhites lifted that Europa League trophy. And now they have got another reason to smile about it, as fresh footage has reminded the fans of exactly how much that win means to this club.
Son Heung-min gives us a bit of nostalgia in his latest clip
An unreleased clip has been going around social media showing former Tottenham skipper Son Heung-min celebrating the Europa League triumph with his teammates as he sings along to his infamous chant. The one that is chirped out to a bouncy rhythm and it goes like, “‘Nice one, Sonny. Nice one, Son. Nice one, Sonny.’ Let’s have another one…“
It showed us a bit of a glimpse of the joy that the South Korean carried as he finally kissed a silverware donning the Lilywhites badge.
And given that the mood around the club is a bit dampened these days under Thomas Frank, a few seconds of the video gives you a bit of nostalgia. It reminds us of that front-foot team that Ange Postecoglou had assembled. And most importantly, a fanbase that was united and was behind the boys who finally ended the long wait for European silverware.
Spurs faithful looking forward to Son Heung-min back home

For many fans this one is also about having a glimpse of what Son meant to the club. He is a bit of everything that this club is, a bit expressive and fearless while putting in his tears and blood every time he puts on the shirt.
This also shows how Son was central to everything Tottenham. He is at the heart of it all in the video as he moves between teammates while sharing embraces. This is exactly the sort of thing that shows how that quiet person on the pitch had a huge impact in that dressing room.
The video comes right on time, as it is going around just days before his 9th December visit to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. This is the first time he will be back at N17 since his farewell last summer, and surely it will see a crowd, even if just for a moment, united again, singing his name with joy and nostalgia for everything he means to the people and to this club.
