Randal Kolo Muani was seen limping after Tottenham’s 2-0 win against Brentford.
Randal Kolo Muani had impressed once again during his time on the pitch against Brentford. His awareness, touch, pressing and ability to beat defenders showcased why Thomas Frank values him so highly. The 27-year-old has demonstrated versatility by showing he is a dangerous winger as well as a striker, providing Frank with tactical flexibility across the front line.
Tottenham have been handed a fresh injury concern ahead of their crucial Champions League clash with Slavia Prague. As per Football London, Kolo Muani was seen limping out of the dressing room following Saturday’s 2-0 victory over Brentford. The French forward appeared to pull up just before being substituted, raising fears he could miss upcoming fixtures.
The potential injury comes at the worst possible time for Frank as injuries continue to mount at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Losing Kolo Muani just as Tottenham are finding their groove would represent another significant setback for the manager’s squad management.

Randal Kolo Muani
Destiny Udogie missed the Brentford game with what Frank described as a soft tissue injury sustained against Newcastle. The Italian left-back cannot get a long injury-free run under his belt this season, having previously been sidelined with a recurring knee problem.
James Maddison remains out with the ACL injury he suffered during preseason and is not expected to return until late in the campaign. Dejan Kulusevski has been sidelined since mid-November. Dominic Solanke continues recovering from a knee injury sustained in September.
Kolo Muani joining this lengthy treatment room list would further deplete Frank’s attacking options. The Frenchman has been one of the few consistent performers during Tottenham’s difficult start to the season, making his potential absence particularly damaging.
Crucial Week Ahead for Tottenham
Frank will be desperately hoping the limp was nothing serious as Spurs face a demanding fixture schedule. Tottenham host Slavia Prague on Tuesday, before facing Liverpool in a couple of weeks.
Frank’s side has collected eight points from five matches in the Champions League and desperately need a win, as they chase qualification for the knockout stages. Losing Kolo Muani for such a crucial fixture would limit Frank’s tactical options.
The game against Liverpool poses another significant challenge. Despite drawing their last two league matches, the Reds appear to have rediscovered their rhythm and once again pose a serious attacking threat. Tottenham will need all their attacking weapons available to have a chance of securing a positive result on Saturday.
Tottenham’s medical staff have been working overtime this season dealing with the mounting injury list. The club’s inability to keep players fit has been a recurring theme under Frank, with some questioning whether training methods or workload management need reassessing.
