Tottenham will be looking to make it three wins on the bounce when they face Nottingham Forest at City Ground.
Tottenham Hotspur are back in Premier League action on Sunday when they travel to City Ground to face Nottingham Forest.
The Lilywhites ended their five-game winless run in all competitions on Saturday by overcoming London rivals Brentford. They followed it up by beating Slavia Praha 3-0 in the Champions League on Tuesday evening at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the presence of special guest Son Heung-min, who returned to north London for the first time since leaving the club for MLS side Los Angeles to bid a final goodbye to the fans.
Thomas Frank was pleased with his team’s showing against Slavia Praha, highlighting Tottenham building momentum at home. However, their next assignment is an away trip to Nottingham Forest, who face FC Utrecht in the Europa League on Thursday. They were comprehensively beaten 3-0 by Everton last time out, so Sean Dyche and Co. will be desperate to return to winning ways in the Premier League.

Team News for Tottenham and Nottingham Forest
Brennan Johnson missed out on the 3-0 win over Slavia Praha due to an unspecified knock, so he’s likely a 50/50 proposition for this weekend’s fixture. Destiny Udogie has been ruled out until January with a hamstring injury.
It remains to be seen when Radu Dragusin and Kota Takai will be integrated back into the squad, after the duo featured in a behind-closed-doors friendly against Dagenham earlier this month. Meanwhile, Dejan Kulusevski, James Maddison, Dominic Solanke and Yves Bissouma all remain out.
As for Nottingham Forest, they have quite a lengthy injury list. Douglas Luiz, Taiwo Awoniyi, Ola Aina, Oleksandr Zinchenko, Chris Wood, Dilane Bakwa and Angus Gunn all remain out with injuries.
Ryan Yates was withdrawn quite early after coming on as a substitute against Everton last weekend, and the defensive midfielder is unlikely to feature against Spurs. Murillo, who has been dealing with a hamstring issue and illness, has missed Forest’s last three games and is a doubt.

TTLB prediction for Tottenham vs. Nottingham Forest
Tottenham have been really good away from home in the Premier League this season, tasting just one defeat in the Premier League and it came at the Emirates Stadium last month. And after a disastrous November, Spurs have managed to get their season back on track with two wins and a draw, and Frank’s side will head to the Midlands with a lot of confidence now.
Forest, on the other hand, have suffered two defeats in their last three league fixtures. This has seen them slip to 17th in the table, leaving them just two points above the drop zone.
The Tricky Trees also have a long injury list, making it difficult for Dyche to juggle the Premier League and the Europa League. All eyes will be on his team selection against FC Utrecht in the Europa League and the wear and tear after the game.
Score prediction: Nottingham Forest 1-2 Tottenham
