Tottenham fans are hoping to see the best of Mohammed Kudus as the campaign progresses.
Tottenham prioritised signing well-established names in the summer as they aimed to build on last season’s Europa League success under Thomas Frank. One arrival that raised plenty of eyebrows was Mohammed Kudus. For the first time since 2011, the Lilywhites entered transfer talks with West Ham for one of their key players, eventually convincing them to send the Ghanaian star to North London in a high-profile deal.
Kudus has undoubtedly been one of the standout performers for the North Londoners this season. It is fair to say Spurs have been heavily reliant on the 25-year-old in attack, channelling much of their forward play through his flank in the early stages of the campaign. But the Ghanaian has adapted quickly, playing a vital role in helping Thomas Frank’s side push for European qualification.

He marked his home debut with two assists against Burnley on the opening day. Since then, the dynamic winger has continued to impress, becoming a major creative outlet and leading the club’s assist charts with five to his name. His performances have quickly made him a fan favourite at N17.
Mohammed Kudus has settled in well at Tottenham this season
Tottenham’s Premier League struggles have not slowed Kudus’ growth at the club. The Ghanaian has been a constant bright spark for the Lilywhites, making the right-wing position his own under Frank. His confidence has been high since his move from West Ham, and he has played an important role in helping the team push for a top-half finish this season.
The 25-year-old has now spoken about his start to life at Spurs, explaining that he is taking things one game at a time as he looks to establish himself at N17. Speaking prior to Tottenham’s match against Slavia, which they won 3-0 (via Football.London), Kudus had said:
“I think I’m still getting used to everything. Even though the demands are high, and obviously there’s no time, you’ve got to perform immediately during the club because, yeah, that’s what the league is about. But with the help of the staff, the coach and the teammates, I think I’ve been settling smoothly so far.”
The winger then went on to add:
“But there’s still a lot more to do and to show as a team, individually as well. We just keep taking it game by game and then keep focusing on what’s ahead, but I believe we have a lot to offer as a team and individually as well.”
Kudus admits he is still adapting to the expectations that come with playing for a club like Tottenham, where immediate impact is required. However, he believes he has settled in well and acknowledges that there is still plenty of room for improvement as the season progresses. For now, the 25-year-old is focused on taking each match as it comes and providing a different dimension in the final third to help Thomas Frank’s side win games.

It is clear that Tottenham look at their best when Kudus is in full flow and driving the team forward in attack. The 25-year-old adds variety to the forward line with his ability to cut inside or attack the outside channel to beat his marker. His crossing quality is exceptional, making him a complete winger capable of thriving in Frank’s system.
On his day, Kudus is incredibly difficult to stop. His ball retention under pressure allows Spurs to sustain attacks and break down low blocks from wide areas. He has also featured as a #10 this season, further proving that his versatility is one of his greatest strengths.
