Mohammed Kudus made the switch from West Ham United to Tottenham Hotspur in the summer and has since established himself as a key member of the team. Presently, he is among the highest-assists provider in the Premier League, having delivered five key assists for the Lilywhites in 14 appearances.
The Ghanaian international has been a consistent performer for Thomas Frank’s side, providing guile, energy, creativity and tactical flexibility. The 25-year-old was fantastic in Tottenham’s 2-0 win over Brentford at home last weekend, giving right-back Kristoffer Ajer a torrid time in the first half of the game.
Mohammed Kudus has made a massive difference to Tottenham’s attacking unit, shouldering the creative responsibility in the injury absences of key players James Maddison and Dejan Kulusevski. Recently, the versatile playmaker reiterated his desire to win a trophy with Tottenham.

TalkSPORT pundit backs Mohammed Kudus to win FA Cup trophy with Tottenham
TalkSPORT pundit Gabriel Agbonlahor was full of praise for Kudus due to his overall impact at Tottenham since joining from West Ham in July. He has backed the Ghana attacker to win the FA Cup with Spurs as his first silverware with the north Londoners, even though they face a stiff third-round test from Aston Villa.
In a TalkSPORT Spurs segment, host Jeff Stelling asked if Kudus came to ‘Genie Gab’ and asked him to grant the wish of winning trophies at Tottenham, what will he say? To which, Agbonlahor replied:
“There’s no reason why Spurs can’t win trophies with Kudus. Um, they just won the Europa League. No reason why they can’t win the FA Cup. Even though unfortunately for them, they’ve got Aston Villa to get past. But they need to just keep putting in consistent performances.”
Aston Villa test awaits in the FA Cup
Indeed, Aston Villa are the team to beat at the moment in the Premier League, and after a slow start to the season, they’ve climbed up to second in the table. They beat league leaders Arsenal 2-1 last weekend and are full of confidence. It was Unai Emery’s side that dumped Spurs out of the FA Cup fourth round last season.
Thus, revenge has to be in the minds of the Tottenham players this time around as they host Aston Villa in the third round on January 10. If they are to dream of winning the prestigious tournament, Kudus and Co. have to overcome the Villans first.
