The winger in question has struggled with game time at Tottenham Hotspur.
The Israeli winger Manor Solomon has not had a particularly noteworthy career for Tottenham Hotspur, as he has continued to suffer injury setbacks during his tenure, and also spent a lot of time away from the club in loan spells. The 26-year-old has failed to win over the fans at Tottenham due to very little first-team action.
Spurs signed him for free from Shakhtar Donetsk in July 2023 for a five-year contract. At that time, it felt like a low-risk transfer for the club, and he also kicked off his Tottenham career under former manager Ange Postecoglou, on a positive note by providing two assists in a 5-2 win against Burnley in September 2023.
However, the Israeli international suffered a huge injury setback in his debut season, as he had to undergo surgery in October 2023, due to a serious meniscus injury to his right knee, which forced him to sit out the rest of the season. The 26-year-old managed to play just six games across all competitions that season.

From then on, Solomon failed to get back into the first team and had to go out on a season-long loan to Leeds United in the 2024/25 season. The winger had a great season as he managed to contribute 10 goals and 12 assists, helping Leeds earn a promotion back to the Premier League.
Leeds United have shown interest in signing him back
However, all this did not earn him a place back in the Spurs first-team, as he had to move out on loan to Villarreal in September 2025. Now, reports from SportsBoom (via The Yorkshire Post) have revealed that Leeds are interested in bringing back the winger in January.
Solomon has not made his presence felt for the LaLiga side so far this season, and the report has gone on to reveal that Tottenham might cut his loan short in the middle of the season, which will open a way out for Leeds.
It’s quite clear why Leeds want him back, given that the winger performed well for them in the 2024/25 season, and they have happy memories of him. Moreover, Spurs will not likely come in the way because the Israeli international has no role in the first-team squad at the moment, and the club is desperate to offload him permanently.
It will all be up to whether Leeds take the initiative in the winter transfer window. Meanwhile, Spurs are also active in the transfer window, as they are fighting for the signature of PEC Zwolle talent Jadiel Pereira da Gama.
