Fabio Paratici is reportedly heading soon to Fiorentina.
It appears that Tottenham Hotspur chief Fabio Paratici will be bidding adieu to the North Londoners at the conclusion of the ongoing winter window. The former Juventus man is set to join Fiorentina when his time with the Spurs badge on his blazer comes to a close.
While there were initial claims that he would start working for his new employers by this week and last weekend’s game against Aston Villa being his last at Tottenham. But The Athletic were quick to come up with an update, insisting that he would stay put at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium till the end of the winter window.
But while he is counting his days until his time at N17 calls curtains, it appears that he is already shaping up business at his next club behind the scenes.
Reports suggest that he is already lining up moves for the Serie A strugglers. And one of those, which is described as a “Paratici-style” transfer, is that of Jack Harrison from Leeds United.
Fiorentina make move for Jack Harrison, has Paratici written all over it

According to a report from Gazzetta dello Sport (via MOTLeedsNews), Fiorentina are pushing to take Leeds wide forward Harrison on a loan transfer with an option to buy at around £8.6 million. The report claims that the structuring of this transfer has all the features of a Fabio Paratici move despite the fact that he is technically still working at Tottenham until the end of the window.
Paratici, in his official capacity, remains the co-sporting director at Hotspur Way. But he is soon heading to Fiorentina, and it looks like he is wasting no time in preparing things for his next project.
Harrison is said to have already approved the transfer. While negotiations between Leeds and Paratici’s next club, Fiorentina, are ongoing over wages and final buyout terms, this one screams that he was involved in it all along.

Thinking about this from the North Londoners’ point of view, this only shows that the 53-year-old’s focus is already shifting away from Hotspur Way. And with his departure now looking imminent, it appears he has already begun transitioning into his role at Artemio Franchi Stadium.
This, in a way, should raise questions among the Tottenham supporters about his involvement at Tottenham right now and the whys behind his exit being postponed to the end of the window.
Paratici was also against hiring Thomas Frank last summer. Do you think that was the reason behind his eventual exit? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
