Radu Dragusin returned to full fitness only recently after a prolonged absence.
Tottenham Hotspur defender Radu Dragusin has been linked with a move away from Hotspur Way in the ongoing winter transfer window.
Dragusin wants minutes as AS Roma express interest
The Romanian centre back has struggled for minutes since he moved to N17 after a series of impressive performances in the Serie A with Genoa. But given that Cristian Romero and Micky van de Ven had established their place at the heart of defence, we barely saw any glimpse of the 23-year-old donning the Lilywhites badge.
And just when VDV got injured and it looked like Dragusin would get a series of games to prove his credentials, the latter pulled up with a long-term injury himself. That injury has kept him on the sidelines for a while; he only returned back into the available roster not too long ago.
As he nurses himself back to full potential, he is quite hungry for minutes under his belt to catch up on all the development that he has missed since he signed for Tottenham.

Serie A side AS Roma expressed interest in landing him this winter. They are interested in signing him on a loan-to-option deal, while the Lilywhites need something more concrete to sanction a sale. But as Tottenham were speaking with Gian Piero Gasperini’s side, other Serie A giants started lining up interest in Dragusin.
As word starts to spread about his availability, the Bundesliga has started to take notice.
RB Leipzig and Radu Dragusin, a variety of reports…

Initially, German journalist Philipp Hinze reported that the 23-year-old was offered to Red Bull-owned RB Leipzig last summer and then again during the ongoing winter window. He claimed that Leipzig has neither made an offer for him nor are any talks underway between the player and them. Hinze went on to hold his stance that Dragusin has been among the discussions internally, and any deal for him at the moment is far from advanced.
Now transfer specialist Gianluca Di Marzio has come up with a report stating that Leipzig have now entered the race to sign Dragusin this winter. And this will end up putting more pressure on AS Roma, who have already agreed on personal terms with Dragusin.
He insists that Germany is a genuine alternative destination for the 23-year-old. So this looks like the difference may come down to the structure of any potential deal.
While Tottenham are said to be in no rush and are open to waiting till the end of the ongoing window to make it into a possible small auction, given the growing interest in the Romanian.
