While there was no physical harm caused to anyone, the psychological impact of such damage should never be underestimated.
Udogie has already been having a difficult season on the pitch, given the injury inconsistencies, and then something like this is another layer of stressful distraction.

It is quite alarming that this is happening given that we live within a modern London society and yet crimes like this have been increasing steadily within the last few months here. So, even if we are talking only about Udogie here, he has only just been back in the squad. And considering the performance that Tottenham is giving in the league right now, you would want all their concentration to remain on footballing matters, but now Udogie finds himself in a situation that can only be described as unsettling.
The fans from North London, as well as fans from across the globe, have been quick to show their support on social media platforms. There are also many people who are hoping that the club as well as the authorities will ensure this issue is addressed seriously. Now Tottenham has to push the authorities to identify the people responsible for this and then make sure that the consequences that follow are essential. With Souza coming in at Tottenham and inconsistencies surrounding Udogie, there is an expectation that he will have to fight for his place at Hotspur Way, especially given that Djed Spence can also play in that role. And there have also been rumors about the club looking for another left back, and if that were to happen, it would put Udogie’s position at Hotspur Way in a delicate state.
