Tottenham Hotspur might see a lot of stars leaving given their struggles this season.
With relegation looming at Hotspur Way and Champions League football barely looking in sight for when next season comes around, clubs across Europe have started scrambling through that Lilywhites roster to have a pick of their players as they look to use the lack of elite European football at N17 to pounce on quality players from Spurs.
We saw how Atletico Madrid are looking to secure the duo of Pedro Porro and Cristian Romero, and now German giants Bayern Munich have introduced a third Tottenham player in their target list going into the off-season, showing how popular the Lilywhites’ players are going to be in the market in the off-season.
Bayern looking at Archie Gray
Vincent Kompany & Co are reportedly looking to sign Archie Gray as the Tottenham teenager struggles to get time under his belt in the middle of the park at Hotspur Way (h/t Fichajes). The Leeds United academy graduate joined the North Londoners from the Yorkshire-based club in 2024 and has shown maturity beyond his years every time he takes the field.
Given that Bayern are looking to revamp their ageing midfield, bringing in long-term players who can secure a footing in the position for the better part of a decade at the Allianz Arena makes ideal sense. And while they boast an experienced core, Kompany is tasked with creating a new one, and that is where Gray comes into the picture.
Kimmich’s successor at Allianz Arena?
Given his capacity to play across the middle alongside his capacity to even deputise at right-back, Gray can well be the successor to Kimmich that Bayern have been striving for for a while. Like Kimmich, the Leeds graduate is also quite tactically intelligent and has that work rate which ends up drawing a lot of admiration among the chiefs at the German giants.
Bayern are reportedly looking at him as someone who has the capacity to not only contribute immediately but also has that potential to become a cornerstone of the ongoing project under Kompany.
That being said, Bayern are not alone in the pursuit of the English teen. Spanish giants Real Madrid have also expressed interest in signing Gray.

But it would not be all easy for the potential suitors to prise away his services from Tottenham given that Gray is under contract at Hotspur Way until 2030, which places the Premier League giants firmly in control of his future. And given how the club has been operating of late, Tottenham will ideally not want to entertain any offers for Gray unless an extraordinary bid were to arrive for him.
