Thomas Frank endured a tumultuous spell at Tottenham recently.
Thomas Frank was appointed at Hotspur Way with a long-term project in mind, but the Dane didn’t even last one full season on the touchline at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. It was the Lilywhites’ storm in the domestic competitions which ended up having Frank shown the door.
But it looks like the former Brentford manager could have a quick turnaround as he eyes a swift return to the managerial position in the English top tier as Tottenham Hotspur’s London rivals Crystal Palace consider the 52-year-old as a possible successor to Oliver Glasner.

Crystal Palace are set to look beyond Glasner when the summer comes around, as the Austrian looks to find himself at a place which has a bigger scale than Palace. And behind the scenes at Shelhurst Park, they have already begun assessing a list of possible candidates who can take the Eagles a step further than where Glasner did.
And according to reports from The Sun (via Deadline Day Live on X), Frank has emerged as a name under serious consideration. The Dane is said to be open to the opportunity at Palace as he looks at this job as a possible chance to quickly rebuild his reputation following his underwhelming spell at Tottenham.
His tenure in North London barely lasted eight months, and it turned quite sour at a point given how the supporters didn’t appreciate the pragmatic approach that he brought to the table, and that started to float more so as the results dried up.

Now Frank has a chance to take on another long-term project at Palace, a club that is well known to back their managers but without all those massive pressures like the one that he faced at Tottenham. It would be ideal for him to go there and enjoy some kind of success and replicate his time at Brentford at another London club.
But he would not be the only suitor at Shelhurt Park as well, given how Steve Parish is quite obsessive about getting the right man for the job, and he would be looking all around Europe for an ideal head coach.
While at Tottenham, the North Londoners are looking at current Crystal Palace coach Oliver Glasner as well. And it could end up being a coach swap in summer with Frank going to Palace while Glasner comes to Hotspur Way.
