Tottenham might struggle to keep hold of their stars, given how their season has been panning out.
Tottenham Hotspur are having a difficult season at Hotspur Way, and while it was only domestically until yesterday, that 5-2 thrashing from Atletico Madrid means that the Lilywhites are starting at a possible European elimination.
And enduring this campaign has forced many Tottenham players to consider their options going into the off season. That is quite apparent in the links that have started to appear in the rumour mills of late.
Among the players in high demand is Leeds United academy graduate Archie Gray, who is yet to have a run-in in the first team in his preferred midfield role. But even his performances out of position have been enough for attracting attention from the likes of Real Madrid and Bayern Munich.
Archie Gray committed at Hotspur Way?
Archie Gray is surely an elite talent, and you could see his technical ability every time he dons the Spurs badge, even if the team around him is faltering. And these links with European elites show how highly regarded he already is. He turns 20 today, on the 12th of March, and given his performances, it might mean only upwards from here for the wonderkid.
But despite the links elsewhere, the latest report from Sports Boom suggests that Archie Gray is determined to remain at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and prove his abilities donning the Lilywhites badge.
The Lilywhites are enduring a difficult season and are battling relegation from the English top tier. It is the recent run of form in the Premier League that has left them just one point out of that drop zone as Nottingham Forest and West Ham continue their upturn in form.
A probable relegation from the Premier League could have massive consequences for Tottenham in terms of finances, with reports suggesting that the overall impact could reach around £250 million.
But despite all of that uncertainty, Gray is understood to remain committed to N17 and would not actively seek a move away even if the Lilywhites were to drop into the Championship.

While Gray will not be pushing for an exit, Tottenham may still face pressure to sell him if a major offer arrives.
Given that the North Londoners paid around £40 million to secure his signature in 2024, they will need a significant bid which can test the club’s resolve, especially if money becomes strained in case of that possible drop into the second tier.
But for now, Gray remains committed to the project in north London.
