Igor Tudor slammed for his handling of 1/10 star in the UCL by former PL striker

Igor Tudor has made a catalogue of errors with his decision-making as interim Tottenham boss.

Igor Tudor’s reign at Tottenham Hotspur has been a disaster to date, with four defeats out of four, which has left the club battling relegation.

In his four matches in charge, Spurs have capitulated in three of them. They have conceded 14 goals in the process, with the defensive structure chaotic and the team constantly finding itself chasing games. There is hardly a single sign of improvement; instead, the team has regressed.

On top of that, Igor Tudor’s man-management skills has not been impressive at all. The Croat decided to drop Guglielmo Vicario for Antonin Kinsky in the Champions League’s last-16 first leg against Atletico Madrid in midweek. Kinsky, making his Champions League debut, committed two blunders and was hooked inside 17 minutes for Vicario, and was given a 1/10 rating for his performance. Tudor’s handling of the young goalkeeper hasn’t gone down well within the fanbase, while several pundits and ex-players have openly criticised the Tottenham interim boss.

Clinton Morrison makes his feelings clear on Igor Tudor’s handling of Antonin Kinsky

Former Crystal Palace player Clinton Morrison is the latest to enter the bandwagon of criticising Tudor’s role in Kinsky dropping two blunders against Atletico Madrid.

“His man-management is terrible. He couldn’t manage me, by the way,” Clinton Morrison told Sky Sports News.

“If he did that to me [substituted as Kinsky was] I’m letting him know in the changing room, or better still, I’m letting him know once I’m walking off.

“I know I’ve had a nightmare but you can’t come in and handle situations like that, it’s nowhere near good enough.”

Kinsky wants to leave Tottenham on loan

It was heartbreaking to see what happened with Kinsky against Atletico Madrid. Having waited for several months for his opportunity, he couldn’t grab it with both hands when it came to repay the faith shown by his gaffer. Nonetheless, the Czech Republic goalkeeper isn’t fully to blame here as he shouldn’t have started the high-voltage European fixture at the Wanda Metropolitano Stadium.

As per latest reports, Kinsky is set to seek a loan move away from N17 in the summer to rebuild his career after the midweek disaster. Tottenham officials are understood to be open to a temporary exit, although Tudor said in his press conference on Friday that the young glovesman will play again this season.

On Sunday, though, Tudor confirmed Vicario will be restored in goal vs. Liverpool.
