Dominic Solanke might leave Tottenham at the end of this season.
Tottenham Hotspur have been struggling in multiple departments along the ongoing campaign, but that goal-scoring problem has haunted them time and again this season, calling for the fans to step in and start wanting a new striker.
The North Londoners have not quite been able to replace Harry Kane up front. Dominic Solanke did come in, but he has found it hard to keep that goalscoring burden on him (and he also has suffered from injuries off late).
Daniel Levy surprised many by signing Randal Kolo Muani on loan on deadline day of the summer window, but the Frenchman has also struggled to showcase his abilities donning the Spurs badge.
With Newcastle interested in Solanke and Muani highly unlikely to continue at Tottenham beyond this season, Spurs are expected to dip into the market to reinforce their attack.
And this is where Lilywhites could be handed an opportunity to bring in their long-term target in Jonathan David to Hotspur Way. The Canadian, on 12 G/A this season, joined Juventus on a free transfer last summer, but he has not been able to settle into life with his new employers.
And as he struggles to compile minutes at Juventus, it looks highly likely that he would be pursuing a move when the summer transfer window comes around. And this is where Tottenham can make a move for him.
Juventus ready to sanction Jonathan David exit as Premier League relefation trio eyes his signing
Reports from TuttoSport via Sport Witness state that Juventus are now ready to listen to offers for David, but Tottenham are not alone in pursuit of his signature. Spurs’ relegation rivals in West Ham and Nottingham Forest are also interested in Jonathan David.
West Ham tried to sign him in the summer but faced the same fate that Tottenham did with him while Nottingham Forest were pushing for his signatures in the winter window, but they eventually brought in Lorenzo Lucca from Napoli.
With Juve open to listening to offers, all three clubs would be looking to test the waters.

For Tottenham, this one, he is not in the best of form right now, and he will again need some time to get running. It is to be seen whether the new manager is willing to sign someone like that or rather sanction a move for a striker who is scoring goals and will arrive at Hotspur Way at the top of his confidence (something West Ham did last winter, and they are reaping benefits from it).
