The club’s recruitment chief, Christopher Vivell, has a deep knowledge of the USA international dating back to his rise in prominence at Borussia Dortmund, where he established himself as one of the Bundesliga’s hottest talents.
The Red Devils are accelerating plans to reshape their attacking options as they close in on Champions League qualification. They view Pulisic a stylistic fit for the club’s requirements, even though a permanent head coach hasn’t been hired.
The report adds that there is uncertainty surrounding Pulisic’s future as he enters the final year of his contract, and there have been no talks over an extension. If that happens, United will have a clear advantage over Spurs in signing the USA international from Milan. To have a realistic chance of signing Pulisic, De Zerbi must first keep our club in the top flight.
