PSG loanee Randal Kolo Muani had what was arguably one of his finest performances since donning that Spurs badge in the Lilywhites’ 2-1 win at Villa Park. The Frenchman not only completed more dribbles than any other player on the pitch last weekend, but he also won more ground duels than any outfield player from both the teams.
The former Frankfurt centre forward ended the game with 77% success in duels in his 13 attempts going into them, while he also had four successful dribbles to his name from the six that he attempted.
That is not all; Randal also put in two accurate crosses out of the two that he tried. And then it is not only the offensive side of things; Muani also had seven defensive contributions to his name. That performance showed us why Daniel Levy was desperate to bring him in for about a year or so before he finally succeeded in prying away his signatures (even if that was only on a loan deal). And according to a recent report that GiveMeSport published, his parent side Paris Saint-Germain want around €30m to sell him when the summer window comes around.

Let’s be honest, the 27-year-old has barely been someone that Tottenham could rely on all season. He has been struggling ever since he put pen on paper, and that shows in the one league goal that he scored in the first three quarters of the season before he found some sense of form since De Zerbi took over the reins.
And one performance doesn’t change that, especially not when PSG are looking for around €30m for him.
Now that could change if he does show more upside in the final three games of the season, but it will still be an investment that will be questioned by Tottenham fans until it starts to pay off dividends.
