Tottenham are coming off an impressive win against Aston Villa.
Roberto De Zerbi’s high-flying Lilywhites are set to welcome Leeds United at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this Monday evening as Spurs look to continue their effort to distance themselves from this relegation scrap.
The hosts are sitting one point above the relegation zone, while the visitors need just one point to guarantee themselves safety in the English top tier.
Tottenham have endured a difficult 2025/26 campaign, but we have seen the Lilywhites finding a sense of their rhythm since De Zerbi took charge of proceedings, and that shows in the back-to-back league games that Tottenham have managed to win for the first time this season. It was two widely celebrated wins as well. One was three points at Molineux against Wolves and following victories at Wolves and then going to absolutely dominate Aston Villa at Villa Park.
Those six points mean Tottenham now have their fate in their own hands going into those last three games of the season.
Daniel Farke’s Leeds also come into this game on the back of fine form. The Whites are unbeaten in six games in the English top tier. And for a newly promoted club, they have done fairly well as well, given the 43 points that Leeds already have on the table (no club in Premier League history has ever been relegated with that number of points). And if Arsenal take those points off West Ham this weekend, then Leeds will be safe.

The Lilywhites duo Rodrigo Bentancur and Richarlison picked up knocks in Tottenham’s win at Villa Park, but both of them are expected to be available for the kick-off this Monday. Beyond the aforementioned two, all of Dominic Solanke, Guglielmo Vicario, Dejan Kulusevski, Wilson Odobert, Ben Davies, Mohammed Kudus, Xavi Simons and Cristian Romero remain sidelined for the Leeds game.
We have seen James Maddison being an unused substitute in the past couple of games, and it is understandable that De Zerbi is being cautious with his introduction given the long-term injury he had, though you’d think that he could be in line to get his first set minutes of the season from the bench against Leeds.
Leeds United
Leeds head coach Daniel Farke confirmed that Noah Okafor is due to miss the next couple of games for the visitors after the Swiss picked up a calf injury. Okafor has been quite important for Leeds given his seven goal involvements in his last seven Premier League appearances. His absence will be a massive boost for Tottenham.
Adding to Okafor, Leeds will also be without Gabriel Gudmundsson and Ilia Gruev. There are chances that Pascal Struijk may be available for Farke & Co. despite having a hip problem. Either Lukas Nmecha or Brenden Aaronson would likely replace Okafor in the starting eleven for Leeds.
