According to a report from Fussball Daten, Tottenham are in a three-way Premier League battle with Arsenal and Newcastle United for the signing of RB Leipzig sensation Antonio Nusa. RB Leipzig are reluctant to let him leave, but will be open to offers in the region of €50 to €55 million.
Antonio Nusa, who plays a bit like Neymar, made a name for himself with Club Brugge in the Belgian Pro League. He earned a big move to RB Leipzig in 2024, and the winger has grown leaps and bounds in the last couple of years. The Norwegian international has racked up four goals and three assists in 31 Bundesliga appearances this season, with his form closely tracked by recruitment departments across the Premier League.
The report adds that Nusa would be open to a move this summer, and the Premier League appears to be an attractive destination.

Newcastle United and Arsenal have been linked with Nusa, with a deal upwards of €50 million expected to be accepted by RB Leipzig, who are in complete control of the youngster’s future due to him having still three years more on his contract. Tottenham also remain in the frame and for the right reasons.
Predominantly a left-winger, Nusa can also operate off the right and produce goods in the final third. The Scandinavian talent is direct, possesses excellent dribbling ability, and thrives in quick transitional situations. The young gun’s willingness to isolate defenders, agility and threat from distance are among the standout aspects of his game. At 21, he is still not the finished product, so Tottenham’s idea of signing him would not only be for the present but also for the long term.
That said, it’d be difficult for the Lilywhites to compete with Arsenal and Newcastle for the RB Leipzig star’s signing. The lack of European football next season is a big downer, yet, if our club bosses can come up with an exciting plan to hone his skills and unlock his true potential under De Zerbi, the Norwegian trickster might just get lured.
