A first-half goal from Joao Palhinha was enough for the North London club to seal 3 points, and ensure safety. Elsewhere in London, despite a 3-0 win against Leeds United, West Ham were relegated from the PL, 2 points below Spurs at 18th.
Right from the get-go, Tottenham were piling on the pressure on Everton. Despite waves of attacks, the goal never came until the 42nd minute from a corner. Palhinha rose the highest and struck the bar, and poked home the rebound to trigger a wild celebration from players and supporters alike.

Tottenham had a staggering 14 shots in the first half against Everton. This is their most in the first half of a game in the Premier League since December 2024 when they took on Southampton. Spurs had taken 16 shots that evening against the Saints, and eventually won the game 0-5.
